Traits are not mutations
A trait is a mark from an event, a ritual, or an admin moment. Pages that describe the system say more than one trait can sit on a Brainrot that already has one mutation.
The official experience description credits Chris for the use of Nyan Cat. The Nyan trait is the rainbow trail tied to Nyan Cats circling the map. It is an event or admin application, not something the conveyor sells by name.
Why the multipliers do not agree
Two problems show up as soon as you collect trait lists:
- The same trait is given different factors. Nyan is 6× in some lists and 5× in a later traits table. Strawberry is 8× in one ranking and 9× in another. Meowl is 7× or 8× depending on the page. Fireworks and Lightning move between 5× and 6× the same way.
- The math is not the same. Some pages multiply every factor. Others add each extra factor as a bonus on the base rate, which is a much smaller result. One Japanese write-up says the first buff applies fully and each later buff contributes its factor minus 1.
Those formulas cannot all be the live rule. This site does not pick a winner. Read the cash per second on the unit after the trait lands.

Ritual traits such as Galactic and Explosive are player-triggered in those guides, but the formation and the Brainrots you must place change with updates. If the in-game ritual instruction differs from a 2025 list, follow the game.
A bad example to avoid
Taking a $10,000/s unit and multiplying 6 × 6 × 2.5 because a page listed Nyan, Fireworks, and a weather trait will overstate the income if the game adds those bonuses instead. The displayed rate is the number you can defend in a trade.
