Read the offer, then the slot
Every conveyor card shows a name, a price, and cash per second. Two extra facts change the decision:
- The price of that offer rises when another player buys it, and guides also say the price can reset later. The number on the card is the one you will pay.
- If the new unit replaces an old one, only the difference in cash per second is new income. The old income is not a bonus you keep.
Payback in seconds
When the new rate is higher:
- Extra per second = new displayed rate minus the rate you give up. An empty slot gives up $0/s.
- If the extra is above zero, rough seconds to recover the price = price divided by that extra.
- If the extra is zero or negative, the purchase is not an income upgrade. Keep it only for a Rebirth name, a collection goal, or a craft you already understand.
The conveyor payback calculator asks for extra cash per minute. Multiply the extra per second by 60, and leave the cycle at 1 minute.
A worked example, not a live price
Gangster Footera is listed at $4,000 and $30/s on its character page. Replacing nothing means $30/s extra, or $1,800 per minute. 4000 / 1800 is about 2.2 minutes. A Gold or Diamond copy, a rebirth multiplier, or a hiked conveyor price changes the answer. Type the figures you see.
What to skip early
Common units are the tutorial band: published ranges run about $1/s to $14/s and $25 to $1.7K. They teach the loop. They are a weak place to park the cash you need for Rebirth 1, which tables list at $500K plus Trippi Troppi and Gangster Footera.
Legendary spawns are described as at least once every 5 minutes, and Mythic spawns at least once every 15 minutes, on the references that publish those windows. A window is not a promise that the unit you want is the one that appears, or that you can afford it.
